Peter Nixon works and is a Director at Pezzimenti Nixon Optometrists, a paediatric optometry practice in Hawthorn, Melbourne. He previously worked and taught at the Australian College of Optometry, where he was the Lead Optometrist of Children's Services until 2013. Peter has a strong interest in children's vision, development and welfare.  He also has experience in contact lens fitting including keratoconus, corneal grafts and aphakic children. Peter volunteers as an optometrist in Nepal with Rotary International and has sat on boards including ACEHAG and CCLSA
